Back to School Program

Nyikangbe Primary School Minna

About the Initiative

Around November 2024, the organisation generously hosted the Project Back to School Education Initiative, inviting pupils, teachers and the entire community of Nyikangbe Primary School Minna. Our education outreach which was targeted at the underprivileged schoolchildren, was designed to provide educational tools to schoolchildren in the public primary schools. .

Improving school participation and reducing the number of out-of-school children perfectly aligns with Aspire Alliance focus on education, and the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) on education is SDG 4, which aims to "ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Our Impact

  • Reached 1,439 pupils across two public primary schools in Minna with essential educational, sports, and learning materials.
  • Improved school participation and supported efforts to reduce out-of-school children, aligning with SDG 4: Quality Education.
  • Directly supported 18 classes at Nyikangbe Primary School, strengthening learning conditions for underprivileged pupils.
  • Empowered a specially-abled pupil, Khadijat Idris, with a wheelchair, uniforms, and school supplies to enable inclusive learning and growth.

Program Highlights

During these outreach activities, through individual donations on social media platform (𝕏, formerly Twitter) we provided our specially-abled Khadijat Idris, of Nyikangbe Primary School, a gift of wheelchair and sets of school uniform amongst other essential school materials, to enable her to grow, thrive and reach her full academic potential.
