Free Blood Donation Drive

About the Initiative

The Free Blood Donation Drive is one of AANY's flagship health initiatives aimed at addressing the critical shortage of blood in government hospitals across Niger State. Through this program, we mobilize youth volunteers and community members to donate blood, which is then distributed to healthcare facilities to save lives.

We successfully organized three major blood donation drives in Minna, bringing together hundreds of willing donors. Our medical team ensured that every donation was safely collected, tested and properly stored before distribution to partner hospitals.

Program Highlights

Each blood donation drive featured professional medical staff, proper screening procedures, and a supportive environment for donors. We provided refreshments and certificates of appreciation to all donors, recognizing their life-saving contribution to the community.
