In 2025, focusing on the theme "Your Health, Our Priority," the Niger State Free Medical Outreach program took essential healthcare services directly to underserved communities across Niger State. Ensuring that rural and remote communities have access to quality medical care, free medications and preventive health resources.
The outreach included comprehensive health screenings on blood pressure checks and monitoring, malaria, diabetes, hepatitis, HIV test, medical consultations, free drugs distribution, and the provision of insecticidal treated nets (ITNs) to combat malaria. Our team of volunteer medical professionals and youth volunteers worked tirelessly to serve thousands of beneficiaries across 15 local government areas in Niger State.
Our medical outreach included general medical consultations, blood pressure monitoring and checks, blood sugar testing, malaria screening, diabetes testing, hepatitis screening, HIV testing, and comprehensive health education. We also focused on maternal and child health, providing prenatal counseling and child immunization information. Each patient received personalized care and necessary medications at no cost, along with insecticidal treated nets to protect their families from malaria.
